SURGICAL SERVICES
As a fully accredited office-based procedural center, we also offer our patients a state-of-the-art operating room suite with full time anesthesia services for patients requiring surgical intervention.
Our physicians specialize in minimally invasive techniques, many of which are non-incisional, promoting a rapid return to your daily routine and activities.
Services include D&Cs, vulvar/vaginal biopsies, polyp removals, cryosurgery, uterine ablation, and permanent sterility in the exam room or the surgical suite.
Our goal is to provide a “one-stop” model for women with busy lives so that they can receive virtually all of their medical needs under “one roof”.
PAP SMEAR
A Pap smear is a quick and painless test providers use to screen patients for cervical cancer.
This test is performed by gently swabbing the surface of the cervix to collect cells, which will then be examined for abnormal or pre-cancerous changes. In addition to screening for abnormal cells, this swab can easily check for STDs and other common vaginal infections. Routine screenings and early detection are key to keeping women safe.
YEARLY EXAM
A yearly exam is a full evaluation which consists of a pelvic exam, Pap smear, breast exam, and laboratory testing. This is the time for a full baseline exam. The objective is to prevent future disease before it becomes a problem.
At this visit we can also screen for a host of other medical problems, including hormone imbalances, thyroid issues, urinary issues and more. Our motto is to catch a disease or potential diseases before they become a problem.
BIRTH CONTROL
There are a multitude of contraceptive methods available to women, offering both hormonal and hormone-free options. The list includes birth control pills, vaginal rings, injections, transdermal patches, implants and intrauterine devices (IUDs).
For more information on the different birth control methods and which one would be best for you, call the office at 718-793-1995 and schedule an appointment.
